I served in the United States Navy for over 13 years. I wore the uniform with pride, deployed overseas, trained sailors, and upheld the values of duty, honor, and country. I didn’t do it for fame. I didn’t do it for fortune. I did it because I believe in America and standing up for what’s right. I am Defending my veteran service record.
But apparently, that means nothing to Maxine Waters.
Maxine Waters has been in Congress for nearly 50 years. She’s never served a day in uniform. Never stood a post. Never swore an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. And yet, when I ran for Congress to bring integrity and accountability back to South Los Angeles—a district she abandoned decades ago—she didn’t debate policy. She didn’t defend her record.
She lied.
During the 2020 campaign, Maxine Waters spent hundreds of thousands of dollars running ads accusing me of being dishonorably discharged from the Navy. Not just false. Not just dirty. It was a calculated, defamatory attack designed to humiliate a veteran and deceive voters.
Let’s be clear: She knew it was a lie.
She couldn’t point to a single document.
She couldn’t produce a DD-214.
She couldn’t cite the Navy.
Instead, she doubled down—accusing me of forging military records.
That’s not politics. That’s character assassination.
That’s why I sued her.
Because if someone like Maxine Waters can knowingly lie about a veteran’s service and face no consequences, then what kind of example are we setting for future leaders? What message are we sending to those who wear the uniform today?
She didn’t just attack me. She attacked every single person who’s ever served with honor.
Maxine has spent decades shouting about justice and accountability, but when it came time for her to answer for her lies, she ran. She asked for protective orders. She ducked depositions. She used every legal trick in the book to delay, distract, and deflect.
But I won’t back down.
This isn’t just about clearing my name—it’s about defending the truth. It’s about making it clear that no one—not even a “ranking member of Congress”—gets a free pass to smear a veteran.
Maxine Waters thought she could weaponize lies to keep her seat.
She thought she could bully me into silence.
She thought she could manipulate the public like she’s done for 49 years.
She was wrong.
And I’m never getting over this.
Because every veteran who served deserves better than to be used as a political punching bag. Because every American deserves leaders who tell the truth. And because this fight isn’t just about me—it’s about restoring honor to the halls of Congress.
If you believe in truth, service, and accountability, I ask you to stand with me.
Support the legal fight. Share this story. And help us finally retire the lies that Maxine Waters built her career on.
